On January 11, 2025, the Hong Kong Art Exchange Association grandly held the opening ceremony and award ceremony for the excellent works of the "5th Asian Youth and Children's Art Festival" painting competition in Sha Tin Town Hall.
This year, HKAEA received about 1,500 entries from more than six countries and regions, which fully reflects the characteristics of art without borders, and also shows the resonance of students from all over the world to marine protection and the diverse expressions through artistic language.
The competition group is divided according to the age of 3-18 years old. The competition supports social integration, and HKAEA also support children with special educational needs (SEN) to express themselves through artistic creation too.
The theme of this year painting competition is "Our Blue Planet". This year's art festival responds to the No.14 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and advocates marine conservation.
It aims to attract the attention of society to marine environmental protection through the power of art.
The ocean is a precious resource on our earth. It not only nourishes countless lives, but also is closely related to our lives.
At the opening ceremony, the "Save Marine Animals" net-breaking ceremony was also held, calling on the participants and the public to support the conservation of marine animals, marine ecology and resources, and work together to implement environmental protection and plastic reduction.
TUTUMOMO is a children's original designer brand independently created by Baihe Group. It is specially created for children aged 3-12. It is committed to discovering talented children and helping them realize their dreams. With children's inspiration as the original IP, it creates an all-round children's overall home brand designed by children for children. Every child is a dreamer. In their free and dreamy world, their imagination can always give them strange ideas. TUTUMOMO cherishes the inspiration, talent and creative concept of gifted children, and presents children's original paintings through various products such as home textiles, clothing, stationaries etc., so that each product contains a unique meaning, and also allows different lifestyles through art.
TUTUMOMO was proudly sponsored and give away personalised blankets to the winners of all age categories! Among them, Ella Wai's work was also favored by TUTUMOMO, and her works were made into bedding and presented to her.
TUTUMOMO using children's original designs have always been its core, advocating the return of the design rights of children's products to children, so that children can give full play to their imagination, interpret works with different children's perspectives, and express different ideas about the world.
WHAT TUTUMOMO WANTS TO DO IS TO DISCOVER AND RECORD THEIR WORLD THROUGH PAINTINGS, AND TO PRESENT CHILDREN'S PAINTINGS VIVIDLY ON BEDDING AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. Through this activity, TUTUMOMO adheres to environmental protection more, gives the meaning of bedding and home furnishings with excellent paintings, advocates a more active lifestyle, and puts the concept of environmental protection into thousands of households in the form of home furnishings. This is a small step for every child, but a big step in brand development.
